Liked: The location was in a drug/prostitution area, with strangers knocking on my door to buy drugs or girls, for booking .com to be promoting it is discussing, do some checks!! I left a day early and was told be a staff member , we don't do refunds,!! I paid at the property, in cash, and after a terifying night will take thos matter mu h much further unless a full reful, and steps are taken to bar this property from your listing's, I will also be informing Howard Johnson by Windham of the disgusting property that they ow.n , when I return to England,

Disliked: I didn’t take any of my belongings because I added another day. Nobody can tell me where my items are which I think is weird because if it’s not yours put it up so I can pick it up

Only smoking rooms available
Liked: Awful experience
Disliked: We reserved a Non-Smoking room. The Howard Johnson’s only a SMOKING ROOM available. We could not stay in Smoking Room. They billed us anyway for the night.

This facility projects the impression...
Liked: Cheerful, pleasant staff at check in and in the morning. Very quiet. Huge TV. Plenty of easily-accessible charging stations. Bed was wonderful.Would have been nice if they'd indicated whether/where there was a beverage and/or ice machine, but then I didn't ask.
Disliked: The whole facility -- lobby and room -- smelled of some kind of cleaning product. Staff probably doesn't even notice it anymore, but it's not pleasant, and makes the place seem tawdry. Tap water tastes horrible, but that may be Fort Myers' fault.I REALLY didn't like not being able to take a hot shower in the morning. Even set to full hot the water was lukewarm.
