Very good
Liked: Fyi I have already reviewed for the additional night added to this stay, please refer
Disliked: Sauna out of action, also no male showers due to works. This should have been made abundantly clear at time of booking

All-in-one hotel for a reasonable...
Liked: The facilities are plentiful with a gym & swimming pool. The hotel is also connected to the INEC venue so we did not need to leave the building to attend the concert. There was a free shuttle bus to town/train station too.
Disliked: The drainage of the sink was poor. Staff in the restaurant were pleasant but slow to take the order & provide menus.

Ok as a base.
Liked: The quirky rooms and the excellent breakfast delivered to the room.
Disliked: The strange idea of Hotel 67 being a hotel within the building of the Gleneagle Complex.

Food and parking great but...
Liked: Because the reception was busy, there was a self-check in, which I thought would be helpful. I was pretty good with computers and so did the self check in.All good, except, there was no warning (or at least I didn't see it), to make sure you write your room number down before you finish up. I had to go to reception to ask!! Not a major problem, but an inconvenience, given that it was self check-in. There was a lot of rubbish left by other people on the self-check in booth, so I couldn't find the magnetic scanner for the room card. Once again, no biggie, but something that, if you are a very tired traveller, you would find a bit on the irritation side of things. The entrance to the hotel was beautiful. There was a great drop off bay and parking was easy to find. Our breakfast box was fantastic.
Disliked: We had a room on the fourth floor. We were at the end of the corridor, so felt that we wouldn't have much disturbance from people coming and going. We went into the room to find that the window only opened a fraction and the view from it was the air conditioning and other pipes on the roof. It was ugly and noisy. There was no air conditioning in our room, so it felt hot and stuffy and the only way we could get a cross breeze was to wedge the rubbish bin in the door. We thought there was a fan, but it turned out to be a heater, so not much help. The decor was, when reviewing the photos, fairly innocuous, but in real life it felt like we were in a prison. The ceiling was black painted concrete, the room had industrial pipes everywhere and the floor was not carpet, but some kind of vinyl. It did not give off a "welcome and relaxing vibe" but rather a harsh, uncomfortable one. It seemed to me that some young designer had convinced the hotel to get with the modern program and make everything like you were living in a factory. Then, to top off our experience the fire alarms went off and we had to decide to get dressed and exit the building. I was waiting for the "evacuate" instruction over the intercom (I have already been in an evacuation of a hotel in the middle of the night), but none was forthcoming, neither was an announcement that this was a "test only". I was puzzled and was ready to exit when the siren stopped. No explanation was given and we think that someone exited the fire doors outside our room to have a sneaky ciggie.A breakfast box was delivered to our door the next morning containing a lovely selection of breakfast foods. However, already feeling like we were in a prison, it felt more like it, inmates who had their food delivered through their cell door. No view, no contact with staff and no contact with local people, which we have found to be the best part of our visit.
