What I loved about the hotel is the people that work in the front.

Clean, good location. Wine/champagne from 5-6 PM was a great start to New Year's Eve. Staff was very friendly - even helped us order pizza at 2 AM! Would recommend and will stay again. Only downside, no coffee when we got up. It was New Year's Day. Should have served coffee a little later than usual.
Liked: Great time
Disliked: No coffee in room, the cutoff time to get coffee in the hotel was too early - it was New Year's Day!!

Pleasant stay, in the heart...
Liked: The room was clean and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: So dimly light and the lamps didn’t offer much light either. I thought I was in a teenage boys room. Wasn’t my vibe at all.

Comfortable friendly lovely boutique hotel.
Liked: This charming boutique hotel near Union Square is our new favorite stay for S.F. it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, lobby very comfortable limited but tasty breakfast. Play area downstairs for kids and super friendly staff. 120 yr old building. Restaurant and a Happy Hour too Room was very nice, modern, comfy beds. Outstanding!

Good hotel, horrendous "breakfast"
Liked: Hotel itself is very stylish, team is very courteous, and the room itself is very comfy (yet small). Shower is excellent too - and you also get a water bottle. That's being extra considerate of your customers.
Disliked: Breakfast - I paid approx. $50 for a cappuccino and two small croissants! I was shocked! What a horrible thing to call "breakfast"! And the croissants were bad.I could't figure out how to switch off all the lights... had to unplug two lamps.Location is horrible because it's SF - a lot of drugged people who are quite often naked too. Not a safe place for kids.

Not recommended at all
Liked: The location was good for what I needed.
Disliked: Will not recommend nor stay there again. The breakfast is not a breakfast... There is one option for a sandwich (which is uneatable) and a few not fresh pastries. You get a voucher if you pay for breakfast, but somehow, they did a math that you always need to pay extra for getting the bare minimum. Once the breakfast bar didn't open on time so I had to go hungry to work. The room smelled like a muldy carpet, and the cleaning lady always left something behind her.The front desk never answered me when I tried calling. And when I did go down and was promised an answer I never got it...so don't hold your breath. I did want to give a boutique hotel a chance, but this experience drove me back to the Hilton.
