Balcony guestrooms have wonderful riverfront...

Liked: Balcony guest rooms have views over Wroxham’s river, superb. While not spacious they are a fair size by British standards. We had a shower ensuite which was compact but clean and near new. Housekeeping mostly ok. Stairs to the guestrooms are quite steep, no lift nor any assistance with luggage. Free breakfast was very good. Most of the staff were pleasant and efficient, although some staff at reception were not. Bruna, Lisa and Enrico deserve good mention.

Expensive rooms in a cheap...

Liked: At first we had thought we had got the wrong place as it looked like a run down shack from the outside.. the car park was an uneven pot holed sandy stone filled car park , which we thought was an old pay and display car park… , on Getting across the car park with the cases..Well the property downstairs inside looking over the river was lovely and the room was very nice and comfortable. There was no lift so if you are disabled there is no way up to a room as far as I could see and there was nothing magical about the rooms regarding the price .. I was by the sea the other day and got a better deal food price and room price wise .. … This is particularly when we were told when walking up the stairs to the room at the hotel wroxham that the room we were about to stay in was the best room!!!? And when we looked out of the blown window , with broken blinds..!!!!.. we looked over the seagull Poop covered flat roof of the entrance into a small central point of Wroxham near a barbershop and kebab takeaway and lots of construction going on all in the middle of this centre and the room just big enough to walk along the bottom of the bed between the dresser and the bed. The Hotel is very lovely but the price of the rooms and the food are a little over priced to say least. If you’re going to ‘Big’ it up, then have some substance behind this, as you set yourself up to fail from that point.. and dogs roaming around people’s feet at breakfast is not my idea of luxury regardless weather you allow dogs or not!?. There should be an area where dog owners sit with their dogs because unfortunately not everyone likes dogs or have to agree to like dogs around them when they are eating and drinking.. You may be a dog friendly pub and I may like dogs but while I am away and enjoying my time I do not expect to be worried by other people’s dogs sniffing round my clean clothes while I’m eating my breakfast. So, just my and my partners opinion, it was an experience.. won’t be doing it...
