The Magic of Last year...

Liked: We were there last year. This year was to 'recapture the magic' and it was not disappointing.Everything was as expected and just as nice.This could be an Annual event for us !
Disliked: We did not book the restaurant in advance, but as residents,we could not eat the evening meal in the hotel.Totally our fault, but must think to reserve in advance next time.There are local restaurants nearby that are good regardless.

perfect for short stays when...

Liked: Excellent historical building with a restaurant on site. Perfect for staying a night or two when viewing something in the stadium nearby.
Disliked: Parking was difficult and you could be nearby only with some luck.

Cozy hotel in a cozy...

Liked: Nice old house with modern rooms. Had the very cozy duplex under the roof.
Disliked: It's all super nice so only very minor suggestions:- plug / multi plug near the bed would be handy- parking is free, but it's on-street parking so depending on availability - 10 points if asking the guest for a table reservation for dinner ...

Liked: The staff and their friendly Christian atmosphereBreakfast was fine Recommend to others
Disliked: The only drawback was that construction of an addition was going on....should be even better when that is done.Maybe that is related to the restaurant being closed.

Beautiful classic German hospitality.

Liked: If you are looking for the classic German Hotel with a picturesque setting and beer garden - this is it. We felt like we were whisked back in history to enjoy a classic setting. Outstanding German hospitality from beginning to end.
Disliked: Parking was on the street and subject to time restrictions. It didn’t impact much as the restrictions are 2 hour parking up to 6:00pm and after 8:00am. We were able to get a spot directly in front of the hotel and put our time card on at 4:30 for the evening and then popped out at 8:00 to cover until we checked out. The staff were awesome around this and provided excellent assistance.
