Liked: Quaint attractive EXTERIOR.
Disliked: Shabby room, shabby halls. Clean however. One hanger in small closet housing 3 window air conditioners. Shower controller ready to fall off hence water went from searingly hot to ice cold but unable to control with the loose handle. Bed only, no chair. As we were checking in, couple turned in keys saying they were paid up but leaving early nonetheless. Next couple ahead of us saw their room and told us to get out while we could - they however used booking.com and seemed unable to get out. Had we not used booking.com we would NOT have checked in. We won’t make that mistake again. We are done with booking.com.

Disliked: bed was sooo uncomfortable, felt every spring on my back. chair was broken, shower was tiny and felt like my college dorm's shower. just very run down.

Liked: Location and that it was historic.
Disliked: Filthy!! Tried to charge us when checking in but we had already paid in full. Do not recommend the lunch.Toilet randomly filled for flushing.Shower water slowed and stopped returning to freezing or scalding water.Sink made a gurgling noise randomly-no drain plug and it had a kitchen sink faucet instead of a lavy faucet. ?? Key was very difficult to use to lock & unlock the door to our room.Furniture is beyond “yard sale” held together with random brackets and screws.Carpets were matted down filth and stained. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!More photos available upon request.

Disliked: If you are looking for a quiet location this is not for you.Tbe hotel is located by a hospital and on a corner of 2 main Streets. I asked for a quiet room . My room was along the road that has hospital traffic. If you want a quirky hotel this is for you. A sign in the bathroom "please don't flush the toilet when showering".

Appreciated the history, the restaurant...

Liked: For the most part the staff were friendly and helpful. The “antique Victorian hotel” concept is great, but there’s much needed to help the rooms along. Location is excellent, restaurant is great.
Disliked: I inquired about coffee since there was none in the room and I’m a VERY early riser. I was told I can ask the night staff as they have a keurig machine. Well, the overnight girl told me I should go walk across the bridge (at 3AM), to an all night gas station for coffee, she’s not turning on that keurig until 6. REALLY?!

Liked: There was no breakfast. No coffee pot, some of the electric outlets did not work.
Disliked: Breakfast or at least muffins, donuts, fruit or something. Coffee pots in rooms. ALL electric sockets working. I booked through booking .com and the price was much higher through them. Never again!!!
