Liked: Great location with a view to the cathedral and Giotto's Tower. Good breakfast options and terrace with a nice view, although overall prices are a bit expensive. Nice staff. Room was comfortable and warm
Disliked: Bathroom was a bit outdated, shower not functioning very well. Due to the location next to Giotto tower, early morning the bells ring and since the room is not soundproofed, it can be uncomfortable and difficult to rest

Helpful and pleasant staff, terrible...

Liked: We paid extra for a Junior suite as 3 adults were sharing, however the room size didn’t reflect a suite. The room was in serious need of refurbishment with mold, peeling paint, damp and was generally unpleasant. We requested a refund so that we could relocate and the staff were really understanding and helped resolve our issue by moving us to two rooms in their sister hotel which was much more in line with the amount we’d paid. Our stay at the sister hotel was really pleasant- we only wish we’d booked here or elsewhere instead.
Disliked: The size of the Junior Suite, decor, general state of the room needed maintenance.

The best view in the...

Liked: The view was definitely great - got extra lucky with the room overlooking Duomo! It was pleasantly warm inside unlike some places where central heating is not a thing. Definitely a great choice for a short city visit
Disliked: The shower was just 4/10, quite small, the type where you keep bumping your elbows everywhere

Liked: Location is amazing! Views were incredible! Breakfast was great!
Disliked: My room was located near the kitchen and the noise was not great! One morning they even played the radio at 6:30am!! Also my bed was so uncomfortable, I could feel the coils/springs and my back is not good after 5 nights!

Look For A Better Hotel...

Liked: What we loved about the location was THE LOCATION! Walking distance to several key attractions the Ufizzi Gallery! The roof top bar was the perfect viewpoint to the Duomo of Florence, both day & night.
Disliked: The elevator was the worst we have experienced, each trip was a shaking & scary ride. The room was very small & when we asked for heat they said heat until November!The bed promoted back aches. Etc., Etc…. Bottom line, @$400/night, “I believe” we can do better next visit to beautiful Florence.
