Great location for a value...

Liked: The position of the hotel is ideal offering a dissent breakfast at the best location to explore South beach. Definitely a value for money hotel!
Disliked: The rooms needs more light

Liked: Nixe Location by the beach, waking distance to shops
Disliked: The bed was large but we kept waking up due to sweating. We had the AC on and window closed, so we weren’t hot in the night but still super sweaty on the parts touching the mattress due to the mattress’s protection cover which must have been plastic (sounded like). We woke up several times a night.

Lovely hotel in the perfect...

Liked: Lovely historic building that has been tastefully updated. Perfect location for making the most of the south beach attractions and nightlife

A great place for a...

Liked: Amazing location right on South Beach, loved the Art Deco feel and room styling. The staff were super friendly and the double loungers were amazing! Would definitely return.
Disliked: Pool was in the shade all day but for some this may be a good thing! Still plenty of loungers in the sun for sunbathingThe location means there is a bit of noise at night, nothing too bad but if you are a very light sleeper could be a problem!

Liked: Clean, excellent location just across the road from the beach, lovely staff (except the arrendents in the cafeteria who were okay but could be more attentive and put a smile on the face).

Liked: Rooms were smaller in person, looked bigger in pictures and showed views, didn’t find to many good things other then the attachment with the spa but that didn’t give a discount, or restaurants did have discounts but not enough to give the hotel a high review.
Disliked: Issues with room, early check in was nice but AC didn’t work in room and maintenance and front desk argued about it working as it was clearly getting warmer in the room and didn’t feel cool air coming from vents, floors were dirty, walking on the floor and stepping into tub you could tell there was a lot of dirt, tub had a 3 way valve for different functions and none worked 100% water was consistently coming from everywhere, was told the beach was right outside the front door, walked about a 1/4 to get to an entrance as they were building something in front of hotel across the street blocking views of ocean and beach. However Valet staff was nice and one of the front desk ladies from Philadelphia I believe was super friendly and helpful when looking for activities to do and even helped direct us to them and called ahead to make sure we could get right in.
