Liked: I liked the look of the property and the comfort it gave.
Disliked: I called staff to verify before booking that my room would have a soaking spa tub in it and they said there will be. I got there and there wasn't any tub just a shower without a door that closed which was weird. The staff left a lot of things unspoken and seemed not informative at all. I asked if I could get more information on the valet parking when checking in and the female checking me in told me to just go over to the valet people and get the information. I would say it would've been nice if I got what I thought I was paying for but I didn't. Very disappointing

Had high hopes.

Liked: Location was close to Rainey Street and a short walk to 6th. I was lured to this property by the pics and descriptions on Booking but the property is not what it once was. Room was a great size with the limited view of the river due to a new highrise nextdoor. Lobby bar staff was great.
Disliked: Amenities listed on Booking are no longer available. NO social hour, no water at check in, no robes in the room, I could go on. NYE was a missed opportunity on the pool deck with igloos not being used, and then they were quickly removed the next day. It seems management makes decisions and leaves the staff trying to explain to and satisfy guests. This is a boutique hotel that is being sandwiched by newer hotels by named brands. They need to embrace their spot and take pride in their staff and property.

Liked: The style of the hotel and the design finishes, as well as the room size in our suite, were excellent. There’s ample closet storage. The bathroom and shower were excellent. The water softening system is fantastic.
Disliked: The air quality was poor and I had allergies every night in the room. It is probably long-overdue for an HVAC duct cleaning. The pool area is a little bit worn with the furnishings displaying wear and stains. There’s limited service hours for food & beverage. The view from the pool area is poor and sunlight hours are limited.
