Disliked: The room could have been cleaner. The coffee machine was broken. The shower and toilet had brown/orange spots.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the bistro staff was nice.
Disliked: Not sufficient drinks in the room, not very clean! Breakfast was poor not sufficient variety, not very well organised. Staff not very welcoming when checking in, didn't explain how to get to our room, but upon checking out staff friendly & helpful.

Fantastic location and staff

Liked: Lovely, friendly staff and great location. The hotel is right beside a bus stop that brings you into Maastricht. We were there for a concert and the hotel staff were extremely helpful offering advice on bus shuttles to venue. The hotel is beautiful with great amenities. We didn't get to use the spa but the surroundings were extremely relaxing and peaceful.
Disliked: When we first arrived there was a horrible smell in our room from the bathroom. When we ran the water the smell disappeared. We mentioned this at the desk and she said that it's a common issue but it would be nice to have the room fresh when going into it, especially as we had to ask for new towels that day also as the smell of them was as if they'd been sitting damp.
