Great location and value for...

Liked: This is a well situated hotel within walking distance from the historic centre and Cathedral. There are good transport connections with the metro and bus stop right outside the hotel. The metro takes you to both the train and bus stations. There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby. My comfortable room was recently refurbished and I was given the walk in shower I had requested. Breakfast was very varied and hearty, and the wifi signal was excellent in all areas.
Disliked: Very little. Be aware that it is on a main road which can be noisy before midnight, but much quieter after that. The lobby has 3 steps to enter or to connect with the dining areas, so a handrail would be useful for those of us with mobility problems to prevent falls.

Disliked: Air conditioning in the room was too loud. No hangars in bathroom to hang used towels - not particularly environmentally friendly for hotels that promote such agendas.

Liked: It is a good hotel. Easy to access - 15 min walking to the Cathedral. Staff was kind and helpful
Disliked: No parking - they offer a discount in the garage/ public parking but it was difficult to get information before arrive/ check in. The room was good, but too noise until midnight (probably there was a bar close by - my room was in thr 1st floor.
