Liked: Great size room, very comfortable beds, front desk staff were all fantastic. So helpful, polite and friendly and very knowledgeable. They made our stay!
Disliked: The head waiter/front of house in the restaurant. He was very rude to me and my mother one morning. We bought fresh strawberries from the market and brought them into the breakfast area to eat. We had already paid for the included breakfast, and we are hotel guests.The fruit on offer was not seasonal (bananas, pineapple and watermelons!!). I live in Asia, i eat that every day. I was so happy to see fresh strawberries!! He embarrassed us in front of the other guests saying it was breaking the law to bring in outside food. There are ways to communicate with a guest, we didn't bring in a pizza. He should have spoken to us discreetly. It ruined our breakfast and we didn't enjoy this part of our stay at all. He was also rude and bossy to his staff. His attitude was off when everyone else had been exceptional! The front desk apologised to us when I brought it up. They were very understanding and agreed his approach was over-the-top.
