Disliked: Definitely not worth 4 starsWe got a room on 4th floor with a 3 member family and a pet along with us. On top of that there are no lifts or help with luggage.While checking in we were told that the breakfast is served in the restaurant but to our surprise we were thrown in to a corner lobby very rudely and the receptionist was least bothered.. To top this, there were very limited breakfast options. Honestly, the hotel is good as long as you do not expect a 4 star treatment. Assume that you a cheap hotel and you will enjoy the stay

Liked: Amazing hotel full of character, that was very clean, comfortable and direct on the centre.
Disliked: It’s a shame it has not lifted, but understandable due to age of property as the stairs are very narrow and fairly steep, but please don’t let this put you off.Also the carpark is ~80meters away over some very cobbled streets, but then this is why you go to this hotel, so again please don’t let this put you off.

The Perfect, Cosy Retreat in...

Liked: I loved absolutely everything about Hotel Theophano! It was easy to find the parking with the hotel's instructions, I had a smooth check-in, staff were helpful (even with my terrible German!), my room was absolutely gorgeous and clean, and breakfast was delicious. I am already making plans to come back!

Pretty Old Hotel in a...

Liked: Right in the middle of the City. Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, nice view of the square from the window. Big spacious room and bathroom. Large bed albeit 2 mattresses which is normal for Europe. Good breakfast buffet with ample choices.
Disliked: Squeaky floorboards. No lift to upper floors for older people with luggage.
