Brussels was very beautiful .

Liked: comfortable beds and good size room.Well located as close to centre although long term building or tunnel works outside the hotel.
Disliked: on first evening of arrival long wait outside only entrance with door locked an no one answering phone or doorbell because only one person staffing reception and she had other duties elsewhere in hotel. We let several other guests in also waiting at intervals that evening.Bathroom was very cold and heating in it did not work.There was a loud banging from pipes first night but it stopped quickly. next night it was continuous for about 20mins but the hotel staff did get maintenance on call to fix it.

Liked: The room was spacious and the bed was ok. The location is very good. There are works in the street where the hotel is located, but the hotel is not to blame for that. The breakfast was nice, the hall in which it is served is comfy and cozy. There's enough to chose from for breakfast.
Disliked: I never slept so terribly at a hotel in my life. And I often go to hotels. The reason is that it's incredibly noisy. The walls and floors are so thin that inside your room you can hear literally everything happening around you, even from inside the rooms across the hall. That's a terrible downside. For that reason I would never return.There are no basic products such as hygene set or sewing kit in the room - you're supposed to ask for everything at the reception. For example, if you need to pick your ears you have to go to the reception and say "I want to pick my ears" to get cotton swabs.The "fitness room" is not fit for use, better not mention it.Cleanliness was disputable, from bathroom towels with brownish marks to dust and hairs on the floor.I'd say the establishment deserves a very slim 3* rating (going on 2* when the rooms are concerned), but absolutely not 4*.

Liked: The room was spacious with comfortable beds, the location was excellent, and the staff was very helpful.
Disliked: The shower was a bit tricky, requiring extra effort to get the water to the right temperature, and the sink drained very slowly. The room appeared more luxurious in the photos than in reality, though that’s often the case with many hotels.
