Liked: Location is good and staff is friendly.
Disliked: Very dirty, I got a terrible rash on my face after sleeping on the pillow and the pillowcases had visible dirt. Toilet needs cleaning. Super cold in the room and didn't have a proper blanket. Uncomfortable and unstylish. Can't recommend!

Liked: The location Is excellent. Friendly and cute staff. The room looked even better than in the photos. Very clean and tidy, the towels vere changed daily. Comfortable beda. Highly recommend.

Liked: it definitely met value for money. staff was friendly. location was quite good.
Disliked: slightly lacking in cleanliness. even if i am DIY that room was done rather sloppy and that did not let my eyes rest.

My stay was ok

Liked: The location is very good, right by the metro station, the staff are friendly and helpful. The bed is fairly comfortable and the sheets are clean. I guess for Paris it is good value. Close too shops.
Disliked: There is a strange smell as soon as you walk in through the main front door, not sure what it is maybe mould. The hotel is so close to the metro station, actually above it, you hear the trains coming and going from 6am till midnight. The room is dated about early 1970's. The room is clean, but the carpets looked dirty and old. The general decor is poor. I have to point out I only heard the trains while I was there, I was out most of the time for the 2 nights I stayed. The bathroom is not great, but strangely does smell better than the rest of the hotel. Also everytime you go out you have to leave your key at reception, even if you only want to go out for 20 minutes to the shops.

Great location budget Paris stay

Liked: For a budget Paris hotel it was perfect for our stay. Great location just minutes from the buzz of Montparnasse district. Room had a powerful and hot shower. It is a dated property as others have said but clean and comfortable for a couple of nights sightseeing when you are not in your room for long. Friendly and helpful staff, able to leave suitcase behind reception for several hours without issue. There isn't a lift so it might not be suitable for the less mobile. There is a slight rumble sound of the local metro from the rooms, quiet area apart from that. Would personally stay at Stanislas again for the value for money and location.

Liked: Gorgeous Hotel with lots of character. Very central location in a lovely part of the city. Handy for access to the Metro too.
