Nice hotel

Liked: Lovely room
Disliked: Initially we were given a room on 7th floor but elevator only goes to 6th floor and you would have to carry luggage up one flight so I requested a room change and it was made which was great. I didn’t appreciate being charged 40$ to park my car. I wasn’t charged any parking fee at any other hotel I stayed at on my trip.

Disliked: Getting the contact person to call or ring back, we ended up booking through 'booking.com as could not get any reply from the hotel. - this was the feedback from our US clients below. No phone or computer connection socket by the bed, you had to get done on the floor to find or across the room. No Hairdryer, you had to call reception. when time was sort, this was really inconvenient. No extra blanket in the room, we were cold. open balcony that people could walk right paste open room window/ door which we didn't realis until too late getting changed.All amps had difference switches and couldn't switch all on or off at once. No master light switch by the bed. Our clients were on a famil from the USA to book rooms for their group event in QT Next year. you had been recommended by DQYour reception staff were very helpful. Great Stay

Liked: Excellent location (the uphill walk is short). Very helpful and friendly staff. Modern, updated and very clean rooms. Excellent bar with spectacular views.
Disliked: Parking is a tad expensive.

Liked: The location was good and close to town. The view from the dining room was great. Be aware the hotel is located up a hill.
Disliked: We were on the 7th floor and lift access was only to the 6th floor and then you had to go up stairs to reach the 7th floor. The breakfast was very disappointing. Limited selection for a buffet, We have stayed at other MCGallery hotels and they offered a much better selection for breakfast. Would not class this hotel 5 stars. We also had to pay extra for barista coffee. Not worth the high nighty rate. We Would we return, most likely No

Enjoyed our stay, lovely view...

Liked: All the staff were all super friendly and was smiling/welcoming (including the cleaners). The location was perfect within walking distance to the main town. I asked for a lake view when booking our room and I was really happy we got it
Disliked: I didn’t like how there was no cover for the blanket. It seemed lazy to have a sheet, then the naked doona with a plain sheet over the top again. Was frustrating and not appealing.
