It was a lovely place...
Liked: Location was great. Right downtown. Walking distance to a lot of stores, bars...
Disliked: No table in the rooms. We wanted to play cards in our room.

Beautiful remodeled rooms and speakeasy....
Liked: Location was great! The new remodel was beautiful and still has the vintage feel! The speakeasy was an added bonus!
Disliked: Not much not to love, but maybe a mini fridge would have been nice for our drinks and leftovers.

Superb
Liked: Old time architecture/design of the inside of the hotel, convenience to the heart of Prescott where all the activity/nightlife is for after the event in nearby Prescott Valley and a reasonably firm/supportive pillow top style mattress (unlike most other hotels with their overly soft mattresses that kill my back). Would I stay here again, yes. It was nice for the type of hotel it is (older and not exactly what you'd call modern) and the rates are reasonable for the size of the rooms and amenities. Again, location is everything.
Disliked: No USB ports in the room but this is not a deal breaker in my eyes. It was just an inconvenience as I forgot to pack a USB charging cube/hub.Not really a dislike but more of a detractor from the charm of the the interior of the hotel is the metalwork on the ceiling in the main lobby is painted over instead of being left in the original tin/copper/bronze color like the ceilings upstairs, makes the lobby feel even darker than it already is due to the dark colored woodwork and walls.Another item that's not really a dislike but more of snag on the part of the hotel management not being prepared for the seasonal temperature drop with the old style boiler heating system (they did provide a portable space heater for no additional charge that worked quite nicely) which worked fine (I could feel warmth coming from the baseboard outlets beneath the window) except for the fact that they started it up a little to late in the evening (just my opinion).

Liked: The hotel is amazing! Walking through the halls its fun to imagine all the different kinds of people that have been through those same hall back in the 1800's. And what kind of adventures they were on. The location is great! We didn't have to use the car until we left 3 days later.
Disliked: It felt like the heater wasn't on. But that's probably me being used to a modern furnace. But the blankets the hotel provides are amazing.
