Good

Liked: Good location. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Rooms need modernising and a deep clean. Insects on the bathroom floor. Hotel is expensive for what it is and compared to others.

Good location

Liked: Good location to access town and walking distance form the station. Quirky antique items everywhere. Good breakfast with a variety of choices. Warming trays for hot food were not present.
Disliked: Tired carpet in the room. No ability to make a hot drink in the room you had to go downstairs to reception.

Eccentric owner good breakfast one...

Liked: Location is excellent. Plenty of free parking. Old world charm in the restaurant due to all the artefacts, it is like a museum. The owner is eccentric,but, very personable. He likes to have a chat. How many hotels have any interaction these days? Personally we found it refreshing. His English is not great but we made ourselves understood. Breakfast is good. Plenty of everything and the coffee from a machine is pretty good. We asked for the milk to be heated because it is all cold and it was no problem. Had to leave windows open to sleep because no air con. Luckily, quiet area and other guests were quiet by 11pm. Plenty of Zabka stores nearby. Close to a good strip of restaurants if you walk through the park wirh the water tower, which is directly opposite the hotel.
Disliked: No air con, but fan provided. You wouldn't cope in temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius. Cleaning needs improvement. Wi fi not great. Had to go downstairs to get boiling water from kettles near the lifts. Curtains not dark enough.

Great stay great antiques

Liked: Private and quiet. Breakfast is good, but the decorations and the antiques there are out if this world. Never been in a place like this

Would not recommend.

Liked: As for the rooms, average. There were depictions of greedy Jews everywhere. If you like such kind of decor, go for it. Authentic small-town experience.
Disliked: The service here was appalling. The staff literally shouted at me in for late check-in and then shouted at me again in the morning. They also shouted at some random people sitting on the patio for sitting there. Level of hostility was incredible. I was being treated like an intruder not like a guest.
