Great for the price, good...

Liked: I like that there were a lot of coffee shops walking distance, the lobby was very clean, the elevators worked, the staff was really nice. Late checkout at 1pm.
Disliked: There is currently a protest across the street and they are banging on pots and pans from seven in the morning to 10 PM at night so it was really annoying as you could hear it 16th floor all day long.

Liked: Well placed, just a couple of blocks from Union Square, but perilously close to the Tenderloin, which is not entirely unrepresentative of the majority of downtown SF. Rooms are just quite small. Fair price for the location. Don't park next door, they are shysters (drive a block down the road and park in the car park at the corner of Mason & O'Farrell)

Disliked: The lock to the room was broken, and they could not figure out how to get the key card to work. Every time I wanted to get into my room, I needed to go to the front desk, and they would send up someone from maintenance to open up the door for me with the key. The hotel lobby was very nice, but the room did not look anywhere close to the photos they had posted on their site rooms. They were old and dingy.

Liked: Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff at check out were lovely.
Disliked: Staff on check in was a little rude (wouldn’t get off the phone to check us in). They out a $75 hold on the card, which still hasn’t been returned 5 days later. Location is a good 25 min taxi from the bridge and tourist sites, if that’s what you’re there for.
