Pleased with our stay

Liked: The location was perfect distance. We were really near the train station and also close to tourist attractions. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The facilities could use some upgrades, but the staff was ready to assist in any possible inconvenience.

Ok Hotel, needs a little...

Liked: It looked like the hotel had recently changed names (Hotel Deco signs were still up). It is close to the train station, and the city centre is in easy walking distance. Secure entry, you have to be buzzed in or use a key code, lift for access to the upper floors. Room and bathroom were a decent size. Mattress was comfortable. Reception staff and cleaners were very helpful when my friend was taken ill and we had an issue with the air con. Ok for a budget hotel.
Disliked: Downsides, the whole place is a bit tired and grubby. It was cleaned daily, probably needed a deep clean or refurb. There wasn't much storage space. The air conditioning unit broke our second night. The reception staff did give me a small fan for the night. Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, need replacing.

Exceptional

Liked: The place was incredibly clean and tidy. The location was ideal and right in the city centre, yet no noise with closed windows. The team was just incredible. Thank you for everything

Not a pleasant experience.

Disliked: No drinking water. Not even a glass. When inquired from reception I was told to go across the street and buy. The room was very small with a tiny bathroom. Toilette bowl hardly fits in neither did my legs. Charged way too much for what they provided.

Perfect location, comfortable stay!

Liked: The beds were very comfortable. The location was exceptional. The staff was helpful! They also let us store the luggage after checkout for no additional costs, a rare thing to find in Florence. I'd recommend the stay!
Disliked: October prices were a bit expensive
