Liked: Great Location, walking distance to major attraction, 24 hours supermarket next door. Room is spacious although they can provide the free bottle water everyday not only 2 bottle for the entire stay.

Fantastic stay - loved it!

Liked: This was exactly what we had hoped for. Chose this hotel for the great location and the reviews mentioning the great staff and we weren't disappointed! All the staff on reception were excellent. Frederico greeted us on arrival and truly went above and beyond to help orient us, recommend places to eat/visit and how to get there. On our first evening we tried his recommendation of Ciutat Comtal for a tapas dinner (less than 10 mins from hotel) - and it was absolutely perfect! The hotel location allowed us to arrive easily and cheaply from the airport by the A2 airport bus (bus stop just 2 mins away from hotel). We then spent 2 days exploring Barcelona on foot, by bus, and by metro directly from the hotel. Love this city and loved this hotel! Didn't try the breakfasts as we grabbed coffee and croissant from nearby cafes on our way out. Didn't try the pool as weather wasn't great when we were there in October. Would absolutely go back. Thanks to the staff!
Disliked: I read reviews about all the funny buttons in the room which were hard to work out because there are no signs to explain what they are for - this was helpful as it meant I tried them all and worked them out before I was too exhausted and ready for bed! Also read other reviews mentioning it is v dark in the rooms - it was, but it was ok if you can work out how to turn all the lights on! No fancy TV channels as far as I could tell but I enjoyed watching the Spanish news and testing out my duolingo skills :-)

Fantastic staff in a modern...

Liked: Great location, close to most interesting parts of the city. Staff is very, very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Disliked: Nothing really. The location is right in the centre on a busy street. So there is some noise from the cars. But I guess most places in Barcelona will have that problem.

Superb

Exemplary staff makes fantastically located...

Liked: The location was great. Near good restaurants, just steps to a main metro line. The Airport bus stop is maybe a block away. Felt very safe. The staff was courteous, helpful in making suggestions, and just incredible. I'd rate 11 of 10 if I could!
Disliked: Nothing. Good breakfast. Cafe on corner was super too. Downstairs business center was great place to wait for taxi...

Liked: the location was central to everything. We didn't take public transit because the restaurants were close, the night life was very close and a great gym. The staff was amazing, especially Alex at the front desk. He was attentive and kind and very knowledgeable.
Disliked: The cleaning ladies were from an outside organization, and they were not respectful. Loud noises while cleaning, loud conversations in the hallway that had nothing to do with their work.
