Liked: The hotel is located in the heart of the city of Pilzen. Everything is close. The tram station is about maybe 6-7 minutes away. The hotel also has some history. The woman at the reception named Valerie is beautiful and a fantastic person. She has helped me with everything I asked.

Our first priority was location.

Liked: Breakfast was good. Location was very good.
Disliked: Coffee was bad.Furnishings are old and very porrly maintained.

Very intetesting historic building to...

Liked: It’s a fabulous location. It is an exceptional architecture, an historic, beautiful building. It’s thus quirky by today’s standards. Staying is such an historic building is very special.
Disliked: It sadly has not been kept updated. It must have been a supreme stay at one time. The lift is ancient & small & one wonders how safe. The room’s radiator was only a just warm. I was not warm in the room. The bathroom was basic with 1970’s (I guess) sanitary ware. The HUGE dining room would have been magnificent in its day. Now virtually empty. Serving only breakfast, of not very good quality. V basic, not even real orange juice. The staff were not always too friendly. Except the young man on night duty, he was exceptionally helpful. Then when I wax nor well do thought I might stay another night just for a rest, I was told I could not as the hotel is always closed on Sunday evenings. This is a hotel that should hardly be on booking.com It obviously is lacking in current investment. It feels like a miracle that it’s still open. But it is also a unique place that is very interesting for lovers of fine historic buildings, which is me.
