Reasonable price, good location, but...

Liked: Location is good - public transport nearby and it's right near the centre. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. Staff were helpful and friendly with me.
Disliked: Hotel is noisy, both outside noise from the street and inside the hotel. My room was next to some pipes and I couldn't sleep well at all. The bed was VERY uncomfortable.

Liked: i was sick during my 3 days there so i spent all of my time in the room.

Pleasant

Liked: We checked in in the afternoon, and were then told that night when we returned to the hotel that we had accidentally been checked into the incorrect room. As the hotel Siru is next to Hotel Colonies and they are joined at the same reception, we were accidentally checked into Colonies and informed that we would have to move rooms by 11am the following morning and that the night staff had left a note for the morning staff. We were also informed that the actual room we booked was ready. When we returned in the morning, after packing up everything again, we were informed that there was no note left. Multiple members of staff were there to address our query. They were not sure what room we were actually booked into. They checked the room and said it was not ready despite it being ready just hours previous, which I believe they checked the room we were asked to leave. Eventually, a more senior member of staff told us we could return to the room we had been asked to vacate. Thankfully it worked out okay, but it was an unnecessary inconvenience.

Good

Liked: The breakfast was really excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I loved the hotel and my stay was very comfortable. Perhaps the lobby and facade could do with a facelift?

I enjoyed the environment but...

Liked: The property i saw online is not what i got , i requested for double bed i got two single bed put together. No bath , tiny shower that can hardly fit one person. The sink is blocked in the bathroom. No English channel, only given one towel and one flip flops for 2 people . I am really disappointed.

Superb

Liked: Staff very helpful. Enough plugs on desk. Complementary water on arrival. Well lit room. Mini fridge. Clean and service daily. Pillows very comfortable. Breakfast of good quality and abundant with a balanced variety of food. Highly recommend as value for money.
Disliked: The bed mattress could be upgraded. A. Power plug near the bed could be helpful.
