Do not overpay for this,...

Liked: Location is the only good thing about this property. It is very central just as many other hotels in the area.
Disliked: I felt deceived and overcharged for the level of comfort I had. This is not a 4 star boutique hotel but a dozen rooms above a coffee shop. There’s no reception. You get your key card handed over to you by a barista. Rooms have no phones to call for service. There are NO SAFES in the rooms. There are no closets either (it’s just a metal rack to hang your clothes). Showers have no doors. The rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. My shower had rust on the floor. I had water leaking from the ceiling and room service never cleaned it up. I hear from locals that the hotel used to have different owners in the past but it got sold to a coffee chain not too long ago which explains the fact that the older reviews were positive.Dear booking.com hotel contracting team, you should audit this hotel as it does not qualify as 4 star boutique hotel and has a deceiving listing with outdated photos and info.

Disappointing

Disliked: The staff are complacent and ignore hotel guests. Having asked for an invoice at check in&out, email and Booking it appears they cannot be bothered to act. Do not use if on business is my recommendation

Comfortable and chic room with...

Liked: Excellent central location, great views. Good vibes at the cafe/bar and nice decor of the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Free Wi-fi. Nice vegan food options at the cafe, and good coffee. Staff member loaned me a phone charger, which was a lifesaver!
Disliked: My first room was a strange set up, with the bed right in the middle of the room. The head of the bed was next to the front door, with the shower and bath directly behind the head of the bed. Then there was an eye level door that could not be locked, that could be opened from the outside. You could climb on the desk in the bedroom to access the door to the spiral fire exit staircase. As a woman staying alone, the open door setup and positioning of the bed made me feel anxious about possible intruders. The next night I was able to move rooms thankfully; the staff were very helpful in that regard. The second room felt much better and was very nice indeed. Little tips for improvement: vegan chocolate options and non dairy milk for the coffee machine would have been appreciated. The bedside tables were dusty, so I had to clean them. The lift was broken, so not ideal for disabled guests. No phone in the room meant for any queries I had to climb 4 flights of stairs.
