Liked: Very comfortable room with a view of the lake. Great location and close to restaurants. Just a short walk to the train station which was ideal for exploring the surrounding area
Disliked: Reception wasn't always open as we were travelling as a group, we would've liked to pay individually on departure rather than x1 card being debited.

Liked: The hotel in itself was excellent, as was the beach bar. Clean, tidy, excellent location. I went for a swim in the lake in the morning. Gorgeous.
Disliked: This hotel was booked via Bookings.Com in December 2023 on a "pay on arrival" basis. We were travelling on motorcycles ( a group of 9) and had ridden 6 hours in 32 degree heat. We stopped 30 minutes away from the hotel to fuel up for the following day and 3 of us had messages on our phones that "our payment method was unsatisfactory" and that our rooms were cancelled? (You can't really check emails on a motorbike, you have to do it when your stopped). One of us phoned the hotel and were told that we could re-book directly with the hotel, though the price was higher? We advised the lady we would be there in 30 minutes so to please keep the rooms for us, and we could pay on arrival as we expected. On arrival we were promptly told that all rooms were now sold out! We ascertained that the extremely unhelpful and rude lady on reception was the manageress, who had a very high opinion of her position. I was interrogated on why I tried to pay for two rooms with a credit card that had no money on it? I informed the joyous lady that the "Debit Card" had plenty of funds and showed her my bank account. I asked her why she would cancel rooms at such short notice. Her answer summed up her attitude. "I am the manager, therefor I can do whatever I want" and "Do you think I can magic rooms out of thin air". Awful. After some heated debate I was "allowed" to pay for the two rooms I had originally booked as she must have had some magic left. My friend was turned away and had to pay twice the price for a room 2 miles away. 6 hours riding in great heat to be turned away form a hotel that had been booked for 9 months. That lady was an absolute disgrace and spoiled what would have been a great night in a beautiful location.

Liked: The stay at the hotel was very nice. Very clean, nice room had everything one needs, a little balcony with a view over the lake, good parking and beautiful and tasty breakfast. Also the location was great to go in any direction to see the area. Would stay again

Lovely hotel, lovely location stay...

Liked: The hotel, room and location was lovely. The restaurant which belongs to the same hotel across the road overlooking the lake with tremendous. The staff were very helpful and we had a great evening there.
Disliked: There was nothing I didn’t like about the hotel but one particular member of staff who told three people in our group that their rooms had been cancelled on the day they arrived was far from helpful. She said that she had no idea why the rooms have been cancelled then said that the credit card had failed to each of the individuals involved, which we know could not be the case however that seems more like to be a Booking.com problem because when writing this the same issue happened at the next hotel the following evening. I was more taken aback by the attitude of the woman she didn’t give a damn that three people had nowhere to stay, she didn’t make any apologies nor did she offer to try and find other accommodation locally for the three people? She just dismissed them as I have no rooms for you and they have been relet.As it was when two of the people had got notification at about 4 o’clock seeing their rooms have been cancelled they rebooked them immediately however the one chap had no idea that his room had been cancelled and he was left to fend for himself and go and find other accommodation This woman is in the wrong job. I can’t say she was rude but she didn’t give a damn about these travellers who turned up and effectively had no accommodation.There was a chap on the desk in the morning completely different attitude friendly helpful couldn’t do enough.

Liked: Nice, modern looking little hotel by the lake. Good parking behind the building for the motorbikes. It's located on the main town road but the rooms are fully sound proof so our sleep was not disturbed by the traffic. Beach and restaurants are all in the short walking distance. Would book again if visiting the area.

Good place to stay in...

Liked: 1. Hotel provide Bodensee ticket during the stay, so we could travel around by bus and train for free. It helped us to save money.2. Hotel has air conditioner and elevator.3. The best breakfast that I ever had in Germany.4. Hotel is very close to train station and bus stop.
Disliked: 1. While I booked the room on Booking, the pictures made me think the hotel is beside the lake. But actually it needs to across the road to the lake. It’s bar is beside the lake and it’s not free for hotel guests.2. No cups in the room so we couldn’t drink hot tea in the room.3. No laundry in the hotel.
