Fabulous place for relaxing holidays.

Liked: Superb location for hiking in the Mrkische Schweiz, cycling along the banks of the Oder river. Area is full of history. Excellent cultural events. Very good restaurant.

Very nice place, the hotel is a lovely and relaxing place to stay.

Liked: Breakfast was good, you can get a decent cup of English tea. Beds were dreamily comfortable. Huge park out the back for a nice walk (I had one before breakfast).
Disliked: Beware that cycle pathways in the region are very poor, even the official ones. Sandy or with terrible cobblestones. Only get off at Trebnitz if arriving by train from Berlin and then going by bike, don't get off earlier for a nice cycle ride. Or come with a mountain bike. I was with a Brompton and it was impossible to ride a lot of the time.
