Excellent value, safe, clean and...

Liked: A well located hotel, clean , warm, with comfortable beds with crisp cotton sheets and light duvets, soft pillows, and excellent double glazed windows that were not only soundproof, but also easy to open to get an afternoon breeze. Lots of hot water in the shower. The breakfasts were carefully designed to appeal to modern tastes, and were delicious---and fairly priced. Not at all like the usual hotel buffet, but much more imaginative. There are also many appealing sweet cakes. It also feels safe at night.
Disliked: My room was rather small. It lacked anywhere to put a suitcase. No comfortable chair in which to relax. Its radiator was far too hot, but I did learn how to turn it off. The bathroom toiletries were sparse (no face tissues, tiny soap pastilles, no proper shampoo). The lift (elevator) needs renewing. But these are relatively small matters.

Great hotel

Liked: Great location, parking opposite, comfy bed, 24 hour reception, staff were nice and helpful.
Disliked: Room was quite warm, noisy building work during the week .

Liked: Staff were super helpful and the cafe that is part of the hotel is a real bonus.Absolutely central in the old part of the city but on a street that is fairly quiet. A perfect location for exploring on foot including all the major sights.

Cute and well located

Liked: Cute, centrally located, clean & staff were super helpful. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance. Cafe / bakery downstairs was amazing.
