Liked: Everything was fine.
Disliked: There was not enough staff in the restaurant to serve the guests.

Wonderful hotel!

Liked: The hotel is beautiful and impeccable. Our room was very comfy and clean. There’s a complimentary ‘pillow menu’ that we happily used and made a difference.
Disliked: The lights in the bathroom were very dim, not ideal for makeup, but this is a detail compared to the overall experience.

Liked: Good location, for our first trip to Madrid. Nice and chilled hotel. Room was comfortable and clean.

Outdated hotel with unfriendly staf.

Liked: Nice location, centrally located, close to public transport. Breakfast was nice, fresh, and had slme local Spanish touch. With 15 euros per person worth the money/quality.
Disliked: Outdated hotel: beds not so comfortable anymore. Had to turn the matrasses to get a better nights sleep. Not the quality one might expect for this price, the standard rooms are inward facing and dont get to much sunlight. If we didnt have the AC on, there was a bad smell. Had been some leakages in the bathroom in the past, leading that the bathroomdoor couldnt properly close as a result. No soundproof isolation of the door, and hotelroom door couldnt be locked from the inside. Staff was unfriendly and often not present in the bar area, when something was requested they didnt consider important; a different tea bag or a different matrass, you received unfriendly and unpolite responses. Not at all client friendly. All in all wouldnt recommend!

Fantastic stay - highly recommend...

Liked: Fantastic experience with check-in, with waitstaff at the Library, and absolutely beautiful room. I will certainly stay here again when I visit Madrid in the future.

A great base for exploring...

Liked: This hotel is in a great location for exploring Madrid and close to the Metro. We walked to the Prado. We didn’t eat in the hotel but our room was quiet, comfortable and well equipped. We would stay there again!
Disliked: Nothing
