Warm and welcoming hotel in...

Liked: The hotel was aesthetically gorgeous, clean and the staff was super helpful and kind. Highly recommend the hotel for future visitors. The location was good: in the centre, short walk away from the historical sites, restaurants, shopping and one metro station
Disliked: Breakfast was hearty and delicious, but the restaurant was often closed and didn't provide that many options

Fond memories will bring us...

Liked: The staff was A+…A porter came out to our taxi to help with luggage and assisted us to our room. We arrived very early and were given access to our room without hesitation, hours ahead of check-in time. Very helpful in other ways (restaurants, taxis, etc). Location is close to downtown shops and a lovely park and church. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Cleaning service was excellent.
Disliked: We have been staying at this hotel over the past 25 years. We were disappointed that the restaurant is no longer functioning. The area is not safe after dark and a hotel restaurant would have been so convenient. The toilet area was small. However it is a beautiful old hotel and we feel like it’s “home.”

Liked: It was about 6 blocks from the main plaza. Breakfast was warm but was not included. The room was basic and clean. The hotel was charming in appearance.
Disliked: My bad, I didn’t realise there was no coffee maker or refrigerator in the room. Also we had to put something over the drain as it had a smell.

Liked: Gorgeous property and good location. I understand it is over 500 years old! But felt very, very comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Breakfast was advertised, but not available. The front office men were a little crabby/cool but the cleaning women were lovely and warm. .

Disliked: Both. nights the pipes in the bathroom wall banged all night long.. We changed rooms and the same thing happened in the new room.
