Great Stay in Montpellier!

Liked: We met a Very friendly and welcoming woman at reception! She got us into our room early when we certainly we not expecting this! Thank you! We had a clean comfortable room and bed. Great location near the train station and very close to central Montpellier shopping areas and cafes. Very Large comfortable room. Shower/sink and toilet in separate rooms with doors to each area. Water bottles and kettle and tea in room. We enjoyed returning to the hotel for coffee and cake between 1600-1800 hrs. Very generous of the hotel!
Disliked: Our room was on the 1st floor so we could hear the traffic on the street outside our window - especially accelerating motorcycles as they sped by. Ear plugs helped me sleep soundly. The small toilet chamber had a strong odor of urine which we mentioned to the reception - apparently it is an issue related to the foundation of the building...so perhaps not an issue on upper floors.

Liked: This is our favourite hotel in Montpellier. It is a fabulous location near the train station, Place de Comédie and many excellent restaurants in the old part of the city. The staff is wonderful.
Disliked: We wish there was a small fridge in the room .

Ok for a night.

Liked: It was okay. It seemed clean. The people that worked there were nice.
Disliked: It kinda smelled funny and I didn’t love the location at all. It was close to town center but it was just kind of yucky.

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect location for both train and Place de la Comedie. Afternoon tea was a lovely touch. Decor was very tasteful. Will definitely return and recommend.

Liked: great spacious 4-bed room, modern, pleasant and fancy style. we felt very comfortable and welcomed the afternoon tea snack very gratefully. it is perfectly located in the city, only a bit noisy at night from revellers.we will come back!
Disliked: the bathroom is missing some hangers - for example to dry towels.for example to dry the towels. but that's the only mini point of criticism.
