Passable

Liked: The fact that it was close to the station and walking distance to city centre. We booked at very short notice and although there was a room it hadn't been serviced but they were able to get it sorted for us while we went to eat.
Disliked: There was no tea making facility in the room and no glasses for water. The shower door was constantly jammed. Our room was located at the front of the hotel overlooking the street which contained a table dancing and strip club, several bars and a taxi rank immediately outside the hotel. The noise from all these activities was constant until about 4 or 5 in the morning making sleep almost impossible without wearing earplugs.

Liked: Excellent breakfast, very good location close to old city center.
Disliked: Elevator broke so we had to walk all the way to 6th floor. Room was a bit small.

Liked: Location is great, the staff was friendly and it was possible to leave luggage before check-in and after checkout.

Liked: I have used this Hotel many times in the past and had no complaints. However my recent stay was disappointing.Building work (no fault of the hotel) taking place right behind the hotel. Construction noise starts at 8.00. Unfortunately my room (25) was looking on to this! So, (even with the window closed) there was absolutely no chance of a 'long lie'. Not the hotels fault BUT I should have been warned about this when booking.The fire escape platforms are at the back. There is an issue with people using these for smoking and chatting loudly at 1.00 in the morning! I had to get out of bed to ask them to be quiet!A small matter but extremely annoying- It is ok to buy food and drinks and bring them to the room, so why was I was forbidden from taking a cup of coffee to my room after breakfast?? I didn't get an explanation.The breakfast was good enough but nowhere near as sumptuous as say, 10 years ago.The location is very good. Staff are pleasant.€75 per night for a small single room is excessive.

Very disappointing,to no fault of...

Liked: Location to central train station.
Disliked: Very short staffed..staff running between hotels/properties at night ..no security at the front desk at night .. door opened to anyone 24hrs…there used to be a buzz in system.We have used this hotel on & off for over 20 years.. very disappointing to see the rooms haven’t been upgraded and the lack of staff & security seems to be non existent.

Disliked: It spent a little time to check in. The reception should grasp who reserved on line or in other methods.
