Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center Curio Collection by Hilton, Roanoke

The hotel is beautiful and clean. Very comfortable bed. I couldn't believe they charge $10.00 a night to park your car and $16.00 a night for valet parking. The room charge was already almost double the usual charge because there was an event at the Berglund Center.

Liked: The rooms were clean and comfortable; the staff was friendly.
Disliked: I don't think you should have to pay to park at a hotel you are already paying to stay at.

Fantastic.

Liked the atmosphere but the room was very small and it was awkward to have to listen to the conversation next door. Room was very clean and beds comfortable but AC was very noisy. You asked for it :).

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Handheld shower in bathroom uncomfortable. Also no room in bathroom to put things.

Exceptional

Best place to stay in...

Liked: Loved the location and everything was updated, very clean for the most part.
Disliked: One of our hand towels was dirty. It had makeup stains on it.

Superb

We were so pleasantly surprised...

Liked: My daughter and I stayed the night before an early flight out. The shuttle to the airport made it easy to get back and forth to drop her off, and the room could not have been more tastefully decorated and thoughtfully appointed. We loved the renovations! Thanks for having us.

Good

Liked: For the most part Staff was Excellent. Complaint was when no one accepted or pointed us in the right direction for handicap parking when we returned after dinner that night.
Disliked: Handicap parking is one of the worst to start with but when the hotel is at the max and the Convention center also they really do a disservice to the Handicap needing to use the parking spaces and they Allow workers, etc. Park their huge trucks in the spaces for Handicap and no one cares or enforce the parking restrictions.

Disappointing

Liked: It was clean
Disliked: I didn't like they didn't even know who I was when I gave them my name after getting numerous emails from them. Had to wait forever while they try to track down my reservation. It was very concerning especially it was paid for over a week in advance.

Good

Disliked: Hard to find the entrance. Bell boys did not help old lady loaded with bags. I carried everything myself to front desk!Went down to the bar, it was kinda cold, so went back to my room.

10/10. would recommend to anyone
