Hotel Riva Del Sole, Santo Spirito

Very good

Liked: It's close to major road and not far from the airport. Possibility of public transport to reach the city. Very convenient for someone with independent transport (i.e. rental car).
Disliked: It's a bit vintage hotela, should need some refurbishment.

Beautiful place, disappointed on closed...

Liked: The location, the beach
Disliked: The pool was locked, we had to keep asking for it to be unlocked , and the surrounding pool area was filthy. the beds were removed on the beach after the 2nd day we were there, ,which was very disappointing as we liked using them, we couldn't get a drink in the day on the beach restaurant as it was closed, we had to keep walking back to the hotel, we couldntbeven get a coffee We were slightly out of season, but didn't expect things not to be open. Our villa room was uncomfortable hard beds, dark inside and not luxurious at all, no seating area outside. Anne Marie and David were exceptionally lovely and probably the reason why we enjoyed it there. The location was beautiful, the swimming area wonderful. In season probably would have been a different experience. BUT the facilities should be open to facilitate paying guests even when not in season.

Liked: Nice breakfast, The apartment is clean and spacious, but very dark, and the furniture is old.
Disliked: The only one annoying thing was that the apartment is close to the beach, 30-40 meters, but the gate to it was closed and you had to do a detour of 400 meters to get to the beach!

Liked: We left the property every morning and came back at night
Disliked: 1). No beach club or pool open (see pictures taken 10/8/2024. It was 80 degrees when we were there2). Taxis have to come from town start charging in town. When the taxi got to the Hotel $25.00 was already on the meter$40 euro to airport3). Phone not working in room asked 3 days in a row to fix never did4). No internet connection. Wifi passwords could not connect to my laptop5). Restaurants opens at 7:30 must have Reservations.6). Food 2.5 out of 10 rating7). Water only on 1st day8). Did not empty trash in room9). No Shampoo refill in shower10). Did not clean glasses11). We complained but they did nothing

Liked: We enjoyed our stay a lot. Great breakfast, place close by the sea, clean rooms. The beach area looks lovely, but was not really open whilst we were there, despite it being September.
Disliked: We were not given much Info at check-in so had to ask for a lot later, but that was fine. The beach area was empty when we there, I.e. no service offered like coffee, drinks, or mattresses for the day beds. To be fair, the weather was not hot, but it was also not bad, as we had no rain, just clouds. We could still sit there, but with a little extra effort the hotel could have made it an even better experience.
