Not quite what I had...

Liked: The owner and staff were all wonderful, the breakfast selection was good each day, and coffee was made to order. Rooms were small, but have a wardrobe, and a small desk. The view over the beach is nice, and you can get a bike for free at the hotel. I didn’t try lunch or dinner at the hotel, though it is apparently good. I really wanted to like this hotel more, but weather and circumstances made that difficult…read below.
Disliked: Not being familiar with the area I ponied up the extra for the sea view room with a small balcony. Warning: if you are a light sleeper, this is NOT for you. The hotel is directly on the busiest road along the coast, and next to the road are the train tracks, and trains seemingly run nearly all day and night. It is loud. A white noise app is all that allowed me to sleep there - and it was turned up to full volume. The app could not drown out the banging of doors that seemed to go on at 6 a.m., and the long hallway made all noise echo. The location is within driving distance of various towns, but there is nothing within walking distance, except for the beach. Not the hotels fault, of course, but the weather my first three days was rain, and sometimes lots of it. On the second day the metal window screen you pull up with a cord came crashing down when the cord broke, and it took two days to fix…which meant that I couldn’t see any of the sea view from my room for half my stay. The view I paid extra for.

Terribly noisy place - cannot...

Liked: Close to a nice beach. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Very noisy in rooms and in restaurant. When you look at the pictures it looks like the hotel is right on the beach. It’s not. Between the hotel and the beach is the SS16 road and the railway tracks where trains pass frequently at high speed.The rooms on the back side af the hotel are probably less noisy, but the have no balconies and no sea view.

Liked: Breakfast is great. Close to beach. Free bike rental.

Exceptional

Disliked: All was really good and the restuarant with big and tasty dishes.Only passing trains during all night were a bit annoing

Liked: Great location right next to beach and bars / restaurants.
Disliked: Railway line close to hotel was a little noisy.

Liked: Very friendly helpful owner. Room spotless, very comfortable bed, great shower. Very nice friendly staff.
