Liked: Very good breakfast buffet. Very comfortable bed. The staff are extremely friendly, and very helpful. The hotel itself is wonderfully calm and relaxing to be in.
Disliked: Difficult to control the temperature of the room (it was far too hot, even when radiators were turned off). No other negatives though!

Great Staff Great Breakfast

Liked: Great Breakfast with local German breads and pastries and eggs to order. Excellent Coffee! Coffee, Tea, Juices, snacks, and Beer were available in the lobby all day and were included with the room. All the staff were super helpful and friendly.We were offered an entire apartment vs just a room for our 9 day stay. It made our stay so much more comfortable. We would stay here again when in Stuttgart!
Disliked: Location was ok but a little further to restaurants, etc. than I was hoping. Also, we were able to find free parking but it was on the street and often a block or so away from the hotel. Not a problem for us as it is a very safe area.

Disliked: down the steps entrance was awkward, but staff helped with luggage

Outstanding Hotel & Restaurant

Liked: Overall, this hotel remained outstanding. Its staff in all areas, food service, reception, cleaning, were attentive and exceeded all expectations. Like most German hotels, air conditioning is not available but, to counter the summer heat, my room had a small portable fan which kept me cool during hot days and nights. I found this an excellent feature. As I grew up in Florida without air conditioning, we used portable electric fans to counter the hot, humid nights. The restaurant across the street gave an outstanding breakfast (Frühstück) selection. I found its sauna and other recreational amenities interesting and unique. Also, the abundance of drinks & snacks really supports visiting families. The restaurant is popular and requires reservations. But, the restaurant also runs a separate takeout option next door which provides really good German food in convenient packaging.
Disliked: I really do not have any negative comments in regards to this hotel and restaurant. My only regret concerned eating dinner at its restaurant was limited as it is very popular and requires reservations.
