Great place with lovely staff,...

Liked: Lovely property, clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely. Restaurant down stairs that had a good choice of delicious food.
Disliked: Booked on the app at one price and the hotel charged me a lot more. When I questioned it they said I had booked a double room and was given a deluxe double. I didn’t know and was not informed until check out time that I had a more expensive room as it was for one night a standard double would have been fine.

Comfortable hotel, warm welcome, quiet location.

Liked: Friendly welcome. They made us an evening meal even though the hotel & restaurant were closed apart from our booking. Good choice for breakfast. Quiet village location.
Disliked: We would have liked curtains in our room, as the blinds on the door and the window didnt block out enough light.
