Lovely, budget-friendly hotel that's welcoming...

Liked: Our double comfort room was huge! That space came in handy as we reorganized our bags during our 2 week visit. It also had a nice view of the castle across the river as well. The staff was competent and helpful at check in. Even better - dogs / pets were no additional charge! The shower was also hot with good water pressure. The hotel is a good location, only a 5-10 min walk from main sites in Wurzburg.
Disliked: The rooms are a little bit older, but the size and price made up for that.

Clean and quite room in...

Liked: I wanted a budget room and it was that. Clean, calm, close to everything. No hassle at all.It was an old building with a carpeted floor,an air conditioner.They mentioned (also written everywhere) that they do the cleaning every other day and in return, each person can have 5 euros free things from the minibar which had a great collection of drinks :)I could walk to the Christmas market in a couple of minutes or pick a cafe to have a nice breakfast.
Disliked: There was no safe in the room. I know it's not mentioned but I don't get a hotel room without a kettle and a couple of tea especially in cold seasons.

My go to in Würzburg!

Liked: Have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years and there is a reason I keep coming back- it is a comfortable stay close to the city center and walking distance to anything you want to see! The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! Rooms were large size and the bathroom had a large tub to relax in to take off the winter chill.
Disliked: Cleaners came around a little too early on the checkout day (9am is a little early to clean for a checkout), but they were kind and apologized and no harm no foul! Wanted to make sure the room was spotless for the next guests as well!
