Liked: Staff were helpful. Location is very good and convenient for exploring the area.
Disliked: They close the reception side at 9 pm. There is no tea/coffee after that time. Before 9 pm it is served by request but no kettle in the room if u wanna have something warm to drink. I wish they would create at least a common area for guests to prepare some warm beverages for themselves. Besides, the shower was broken. There wasn’t proper shower head in the cabinet and after taking shower the bathroom will be full of water.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and very comfortable and big, it had everything that was needed. I got clear instructions for my late check-in and it was easy to do it. It's very well located, there's a bus line just in front the hotel. Breakfast is not in the hotel, you need to go to a coffee place nearby, and it's good, but it has limited options.

Comfortable old-school hotel

Liked: The room was very spacious and comfortable, well decorated and felt old-school. They provided a voucher for breakfast at a cafe at walking distance from the hotel, and it was very good although there weren't many options to choose from. The location was superb as it was very close to the plains of Abraham park, I could walk from there and get to Old Quebec in no time.
Disliked: Some AC outlets didn't seem to work as I could only charge my gadgets on a few of them. The breakfast being out of the hotel's facilities threw me off at first, it wasn't a big deal but I can't imagine staying during harsher weather. I stayed in the second floor and the stairs felt very steep returning after an entire day's walk.

Liked: Staff were wonderful. Place was clean. Room was good size.
Disliked: Had to walk 2 blocks to get the 'free' breakfast. No soundproofing. Could hear everyone walking above me. Bathroom was separated from the room by a screen. Shower was so small the water sprayed out the shower doors when turned on. Wifi kept glitching out.
