Liked: Excellent location, close to restaurants. Large comfortable room and great shower.
Disliked: The pillows weren't very comfortable and a complimentary welcome bottle of water in the room would have been appreciated.

Disappointing

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed the location, and the staff who served the breakfast. The room was very tidy and neat.
Disliked: Usually when we book the hotels as everyone we read the feedback left by the previous guests. Few of the reviews stated that they didn't enjoy their interaction with reception staff. Well unfortunately we had the same experience. Right from our very first communication at the reception desk during check out and until the day we were checking out, we felt the energy from reception desk employees as if we owe them something. And then there was the day before our check out, despite us paying for the full day our plane was leaving at 9 AM, and that meant we would not be able to have breakfast before we leave. So when we asked about a breakfast to go, reception desk employee replied that we are supposed to inform them at least day in advance ( which is the first time we ever heard about such rules, it never happened in any other hotels in other countries). Unfortunately, we weren't informed about that anytime before only less than 12 hours before we leave so until I brought up the fact that we would like to get refunded for a breakfast we will not have, the employee was just unwilling to think of any other way to resolve this. I would understand and dismiss the communication as unpleasant on if it would happen with only one employee, but it was happening with multiple ones, on the repeated basis. These communications really stained our experience in the hotel, and the pleasant communication with the staff during breakfast course didn't make it dissappear from our memory.

Totally disappointing client service

Liked: Good location, right in the back of Rathaus Vienna, nice room and good breakfast. We appreciated the location but not the way we were welcomed and treated as guests!
Disliked: We have booked a double room including breakfast, but unfortunately the confirmation was not stating that and we have not checked it before. But, we have proved that the tariff we have paid for the room was including the damn breakfast - even at the moment of our accommodation, if one would have went to Booking to book a room, would have paid the tariff we paid INCLUDING breakfast. The gentlemen from reception ALSO DID THIS, he checked with Booking, seen clearly that we were right but refused to adjust it and on purposedly said its not their business and we should address to Booking. And they make us pay another 100 EUR more, for getting the breakfast. He even said that we can cancel the booking and make another one, but they have just taken the money from my credit card and I would have lost the entire stay. And it was rude, because we have arrived at the reception desk at 18,30 local time and we could have cancelled the booking without any fee up to 18.00 o'clock. It was very frustrating and very rude!We have paid the money, of course, but will most definitely not go through this experience again! We are experienced travelers and really know what to expect from a 4star hotel in Vienna, we have stayed many times in other 4stars hotels but this was the one where we were treated at an absolute worst! SO by going there just be aware and check every letter of your confirmation otherwise you would be treated bad and you will also have to pay for that!
