Liked: Everything was excellent. Food at breakfast and the restaurant was wonderful. Location was perfect for us.
Disliked: Wish they had a gym in the hotel.

Liked: Very child friendly, restaurant is very good.
Disliked: Amenities- we were unable to get reservations for massages unfortunately so we made reservations, in person with our child with us, for a beer bath just to get there for the reservation and be turned away due to our child. Why weren’t we told to start with that our child couldn’t join? We were also unable to get bowling reservations during our entire stay. The room- the bed was uncomfortable, you can’t get the room dark during the day for naps, the couch looked old and dingy. The staff wasn’t very friendly or helpfulThe parking-while free is inconvenient, especially when cold and ice-y.

Tiny rooms with no windows...

Liked: The restaurant and spa on the property were wonderful.
Disliked: Our room had no windows-only a skylight. And it was very small with twin beds (not pushed together). It felt very claustrophobic.

Exceptional

a very pleasant stay at...

Liked: We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, which is ideally located. The private parking is a real advantage, though it would be even better with charging stations for electric cars. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well air-conditioned. The soundproofing is excellent; despite having a room overlooking the courtyard and the hotel being full of guests, we were not disturbed by any noise.The meals are hearty and reasonably priced, which is especially nice compared to the standards in Belgium.
Disliked: The only downside we encountered was a misunderstanding at the reception: upon our arrival, the evening receptionist asked us to pay an extra fee for our 2-year-old daughter, even though Booking.com clearly stated that her stay was free. This was an unpleasant exchange, but the next morning, the main receptionist confirmed that our child was indeed staying for free, as initially agreed. It seems the confusion arose because our daughter is tall for her age, leading them to think we were trying to avoid paying, despite verifying her ID. Apart from this incident, our stay went very well, and we were satisfied with the overall services provided by the hotel.

Superb

Liked: A super stop-over hotel for long European drives. About 10 minutes off the autoroute near Pilzen. Plenty of parking. Clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant and microbrewery. Two other restaurants within 50 meters (one a pizzeria). The hotel has a spa if that appeals to you (not on my list). An oasis of tranquillity and good value. Book in good time - it fills up.
Disliked: Some bathrooms don't have a shower, only a shower head connected to the bath tap. Not ideal, but it won't stop me from staying again.
