Beautiful rooms

Liked: The Zaha Hadid rooms are beautiful and comfortable
Disliked: Feels a bit dated, specially from outside

Glad we stayed, would stay...

Liked: The area where it was located was very convenient especially as taxis were located near. The view of our room was amazing. The coffee, teas, and complimentary water was great.
Disliked: My husband hit his foot about 4 times at bed corner. Tub/shower didn’t drain fast.

We were well pleased.

Liked: Everything. Comfy bed , great room. Staff were very very helpful and friendly. They arranged taxis for us. The bell boy greeted us at the entrance and gave us some bottled water. Everywhere was clean. Good breakfast selection. The tube station is a 2 minutes walk from the hotel
Disliked: The swimming pool was on the small side.

an hotel which has lost...

Liked: the hotel has lost its 5-star glory...the architecture is raped by makeshift technical installations and bad decoration (in the lobby) the vanity sets are sad, as are the restaurants of the hotel...
Disliked: the TV on the floor when coming out of the elevator was a warning: here, the exceptional architecture is raped by a small TV with the utmost generic content. The architecture is not celebrated by attention, just abused by mediocre post-occupancy

It's and ok hotel to...

Liked: location was perfect for what we needed staff were great
Disliked: It's not a 5 star hotel I think maybe when it first opened it was but the room was shabby, threadbare carpets, chipped side table and a lot of dust everywhere. The room design was nice but the carpets and furniture desperately need updating. Also the bathrooms are very old. Thankfully the bed was comfy.Also the service in the restaurant needs to be looked at. We ordered a glass of wine and a coffee and the coffee arrived 30 minutes after the wine. Not acceptable if you are telling people you are a 5 star hotel.
