It was functional and in...

Liked: Nice staff. Nice breakfast. Good location. Lovely gardens.
Disliked: Rooms could do with upgrading. Very old fashioned bathrooms.

Adorable!

Liked: We recieved a warm welcome and assistance with our multiple heavy bags 😅 we stayed only for one night, as our flight was early the next day. (Would definitely book a longer stay on our next trip to Bologna!) and despite leaving before the breakfast started, the concierge made us two cappuccino and coordinated our taxi for us. Excellent service and charming accommodations! We also liked the quiet neighborhood and easy walk to Piazza Maggiore, great location.
