3 night stay in Barcelona

Liked: Stunningly designed hotel easily spotted from miles away. Pleasant staff. Food and drinks good quality and good value for money. Beds huge and very comfortable. Amazing views! Good secure underground car park bookable before arrival. Good selection of shops and restaurants within a 5 min walk.
Disliked: Shower and toilet both behind frosted glass panels in the room which I didn't mind but my partner wasn't too happy about. Location not great for Barcelona tourist attractions , uber was €20 each way. Good public transport links within a 3 min walk though (train & tube station).

Looked good on paper; Japanese...

Liked: Location and staff.
Disliked: No sink in bathroom, must stand in open room to wash hands and do personal grooming so the whole world can see. Again , must enter common area to move between bathroom and shower. No grab bars In the bathroom or shower. Nowhere to hang bathrobes, towels, face cloths ( BTW, were none, used hand towels) in shower. NO DRAWERS ANYWHERE! Can't watch TV from the couch. if someone is sitting at the desk. Adjusting TV so it can be seen in bed makes it so you can't use the desk. Nearly all the available TV stations, understandably, were not in English, but I couldn't find any way to display it subtitles either. Room lighting was awkwardly placed and inefficient making the room look dingy. Most impractical Room layout I've ever experienced. I tend to believe it was designed by someone who has never stayed in a hotel room in his life. But I can say, it certainly was a memorable stay.
