Disliked: On checking in we were given a key to an occupied room- not great for the confidence in the hotel! Found the hotel a bit old fashioned. And far too hot.

Beautiful hotel & great staff.

Liked: Staff were honestly fantastic, always friendly, kind and helpful. They are a real credit to the hotel. Room itself was beautiful and the products provided were lovely.The breakfast was nice and again the area you ate in was beautiful. They had a lovely bar with a nice barman who made really good cocktails.
Disliked: Few room issues on arrival no hand soap left in dispenser and toilet seat broken. (Left a note from cleaners who replaced soap on first day). We had also booked 2 rooms together however we were put opposite ends of hotel, floor 1 and floor 5. We asked to move from floor 5 room to be closer to family on first night however fully booked and the lady said to come and ask in the morning. We decided not to after the first night as issues with air conditioning, floor 1 room was permanently 24+ degrees and although there was a control in the room it didn’t work. We did request 3 times at reception and via phone to have the aircon fixed however it remained the same for 3 nights we were there which was a shame. Overall beautiful rooms however with the above issues mentioned didn’t feel like value for the money spent.
