Liked: This hotel was very charming. The room was typical for Paris, on the small side, but it was clean and comfortable. The fact that it overlooked the courtyard made the room very calm and quiet, the area is not noisy anyway. I really liked it.
Disliked: Just like most hotels in Paris, the bathroom is almost a letdown. This time it was the shower head that didn't work well, it was loose at didn't stay in place so you couldn't wash very well. The water pressure wasn't great either, probably because it was the top floor.

Overall, good for a short...

Liked: The staff at the reception was very friendly, you can easily store your luggage before checking in and after checking out. The location is good. Our room had a nice view.
Disliked: The room was quite cramped, not much space for two people. It was a bit cold in the bathroom because it has a balcony door, and the hairdryer was super old. There’s no coffee machine or a kettle in the room itself, but you can get coffee/tea downstairs, which is still nice.

Liked: The room was lovely for my sister and I and really unique. We had a small balcony that looked out onto a very Parisian street! The free slippers were a nice touch too. The Receptionist was so friendly and lovely - even complimented our (very) basic french!
Disliked: A kettle with some teas/coffees would have been the perfect finishing touch to the room. It was quite noisy in the morning due to building works and thin walls/hearing other guests in the corridors.

Superb

Liked: The room was great, and the overall stay was good. It was always clean, with fresh sheets provided regularly. The room was very warm, so we didn’t need to turn on the heating. Rooms in Paris are generally small, so we were aware of this. I would have really appreciated having a kettle in the room because there were times when I wanted to make tea or coffee but I couldn’t. There was a slight smell coming from the bathroom drain, but we managed to reduce it by frequently spraying Klinex spray I had bought and keeping the ventilation fan on for several hours. The location was excellent, as it was close to several metro stations. There are many great shops nearby, including places to eat and have coffee. The staff was excellent, very polite and helpful everyone! Thank you so much! I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again, and if I can find it at a slightly lower price, even better.
