Hotel Description
Located in the center of Downtown, Per La, Autograph Collection is a hotel inspired by the building in which it's housed. Originally the Bank of Italy, a historic 12-story building on the corner of Olive and 7th Street, the space is a symbol of inclusion and accomplishment. All rooms feature original artwork from a Paris-based design studio and are dressed in custom-designed furnishings and luxury linens. Many include standalone pedestal bathtubs and separate rooms for wash closets. Rooms also include desks, a fully stocked mini-bar, toiletries, and bathrobes. Guests can utilize the 24-hour fitness or lounge in the rooftop pool and bar. From the rooftop, guests can take in panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles or enjoy a cup of coffee from the outdoor cafe. There is a 24-hour front desk and valet parking at the property. Great location. We would come...

Liked: Beautiful interior, great service
Disliked: The toilet was not flushed when we checked into our room and someone had gone to the bathroom. The lid was down so it probably wasn’t checked by the cleaning staff

Good staycation! Staff is so...

Liked: Very clean and spacious; old rustic charm with a modern twist. The tub is amazing! and the rooftop is so cool with a warm pool. Downstairs has the cutest bar and dinning area.
Disliked: No downside

Liked: The room was exactly as described and it looked in the pictures. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I enjoyed taking a bath in the tub. It was quiet at night. The bar in the lobby had great drinks. The bartender (Mike?) was very nice. I was sad it was raining so did not get to enjoy the roof top pool or the bar.
Disliked: No bath bubbles available to take bath. Valet parking is pricey. Would be nice to have self-parking. Unable to cast to TV- need to upgrade to smart TV.

History Meets Luxury in a...

Liked: The building is a historical gem in the center of downtown with easy access to the best shops and restaurants. The renovation is totally luxe -- they were able to preserve some of the most unique details from the time period (including a really cool bank vault you walk through to get to the restrooms in the basement... a *must see*!) as well as beautiful dining areas and rooms. We had a huge bathtub in our suite which felt like a NYC apartment -- wrap around windows and a living room, too. Wifi was strong so we could work from the room with ease and the staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. We left feeling like family!
