Fawlty Towers wannabe

Liked: Large spacious room with a lovely sea view
Disliked: Constant loud tapping 24 hours a day, seemingly louder at night. Kept saying that they would fix it but it didn't get done. No hot water in the morning for the first day. Served cold baked beans with cooked breakfast.. Had to ask for additional milk for room. Had to pay in addition to park the car in their car park. Limited amount of staff available.

Adequate facilities, poor check in...

Liked: Friendly staff and good selection for breakfast
Disliked: Was asked to produce photo ID on check in - driving licence - which they then photocopied. Never encountered this in a hotel in Britain before and left me feeling uneasy. Room - no. 3 - was above the boiler and so noise kept waking me during the night. Won't recommend.

Liked: hmmmm. I guess the dining room was nice and no one was around so it was quite!
Disliked: The pool was not in use! The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and we didnt get the room we booked, even Booking.com has the picture of the room we booked yet the hotel said they didnt realise we booked that specific room! Himm. The room we had was in the roof and you couldnt see well out of the windows, I wasnt happy and gave them the opportunity to put it right but they didnt.
