Liked: Not my first stay in that place. I often do that when working for Berliner Festspiele. When you after the place right in the place you need to be, sorting you with a comfortable bed and breakfast ready at the morning hours, then that's the right place.If you after upper luxury, you perhaps need to looks elsewhere, but if you after a decent standard and excellent value for the money, that's your place.Close to working venue, close to Berlin centre, close to all the major transport spots. Thanks for making things easy for me again, much appreciated. I am sure it is not my last stay here. See you the next year.
Disliked: Nothing for the price.

Charming old building and a...

Liked: Location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, charm, style, the building, the perceived slower pace of time instead of the daily rush, agreeable breakfast buffet with a decent choice.
Disliked: Rather thin (new) walls. I don't mean the original walls of the building, but the partitions put in later to make hotel rooms out of bigger halls.

Exceptional

Beautiful classic building

Liked: Beautiful building with original features. Our room had an enormous window and the classic furniture made it feel like a really unique place to stay.It’s located within the fancy side of town, with shops like Ralph Lauren and Marco Polo so it felt very safe when arriving back late.Great bakery, coffee shop a few doors down.

Amazing stay!

Liked: Vintage, artistic and nice breakfast!
Disliked: It was a bit confusing when I entered. The signages could be improved. I couldn’t easily locate my room considering, I got very late in Berlin.

An hotel from another time

Liked: A very unusual hotel that takes us back to a distant past. Everything is well preserved and of period. It's a nice change from ‘classic’ hotel rooms. Even though the hotel is from an ancient time, it has some very nice modern touches (like the wifi, which works really well).
Disliked: Comfort suffers a little from the age of the rooms, with creaky floors, fairly thin walls and an extremely soft mattress ;-).
