Liked: Probably the best located accommodation in Brno city centre, perfect for a few days stay. The breakfast is perfectly adequate, and there's one of the best beer bars in town below the accommodation. No noise or smell from there in the accommodation. The hotel and pub staff are friendly and helpful.

A large room with brewery/restaurant...
Liked: Located a short tram ride from the main train station. Just outside the central business district, next to a school. A very helpful front desk. A nice and large room with courtyard terrace. Clean and well kept. A good breakfast buffet with multiple options.
Disliked: The room rate seemed high. There was a "free mini bar" but I could have done without the beer and soda in exchange for a lower priced room.

Very good for 1 night...
Liked: Very good location for sightseeing. It's possible to park at the hotel to unpack only, but you have to notify hotel staff in advance. Nice breakfast. Although in the center, the place was very quiet.
Disliked: The lady at the reception desk was very nice, but totally confused. Even though I sent all needed information by email, she couldn't check it and made a lot of mistakes in our registration cards.

Really Exceeded My Expectations -...
Liked: I loved my stay here, and felt really lucky I chose it. The staff was extremely helpful, and kind. Especially as I just landed and was having some real issues with Jetlag and missing luggage.The restaurant was really lively and fun, and with a lot of options. Breakfast on the other hand, was quiet and nice, just as you'd want it, with a good standard selection.Room was small but very comfortable and clean, with lots of modern lighting (and charging) options. Mini-bar, flat screen, and even a balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard. I could hardly have been more pleased. Bathroom was modern, with great water pressure and hot water without much of a wait.Location and value was excellent as well. Taxi pickup was not available outside the hotel, but close by on a corner so it was no problem.
Disliked: The one and only thing I truly disliked was the entrance procedure. But it was my first time, so maybe there are options I did not know about at the time.a. Elevator is very small, like the old lifts. I am very claustrophobic and have been trapped in hotel elevators in the past; so I would be extremely grateful for another option. The only staircase I found seemed to lead into the kitchen.b. I come and go at all hours, as I travel constantly. It didn't seem there was a way back into the building after midnight, according to the signage I found. c. At the main entrance after restaurant hours I was approached by a criminal element which was really uncomfortable. A separate "back" or "side" entrance if one exists, would be great.With an alternative way in and out of my room this would be my favorite place to stay in Brno, and I look forward to staying here again.
