Liked: The warm reception by Rachida was so so excellent and have made me become a return client. The location is fantastic and they give free coffees 24 hours. I love that so much ...merci!
Disliked: just the two coloured blinds in the room. I also sent a message asking if they found something I might have lost, no one replied.

Worst experience for over 20...

Liked: Close to the station, check in and check out was efficient, the only positives about this place.
Disliked: Very noisy, both of us had virtually no sleep, sound proofing non existent. Room did not reflect the photos, the headboards are painted onto the wall, the carpet needs a good clean or ripping up and replacing. The bathroom was well below standard, the wall tiles need a total overhaul, black mould in the grout and the shower head attachment was pretty much hanging off the wall, the water took an age to drain. The toilet had a big crack in it and obviously has been like it for some time. Fortunately we didn’t check into the hotel until nearly 23:00 and checked out just after 06:00am the following morning. If we had arrived earlier, we would have demanded a different room or checked into a different hotel altogether. Shocked at how this is rated as a 3 star hotel, we knew it would be a bit basic, but there is a standard that needs to be reached and this is not a 3 star hotel in our experience. This is a well below average place and was the last stay on our interrail trip around Europe, a disappointing end to an amazing holiday. Avoid.

Hotel Pax Opera

Liked: Very good location and clean. Also minimal street noise, especially considering we are in heart of a big city. Good blackout curtains. Good hot & cold water & good water pressure. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Room was a bit cramped with very little space to easily access luggage. Had to close luggage & put in closet - then pull luggage out, open, etc to get what was needed & then put luggage back in closet - tho this is true for most of Europe. Good news is decent amount of closet space. Shower size was small & one had to be careful when turning around not to accidentally bump faucet & turn water hot or cold. Not a problem if body type resembles a baguette. I don't recommend associated restaurant next to / below hotel - mediocre food at average price. Much better food options nearby for similar price.

Liked: Super clean room, quaint with loads of character. The staff are great especially the gentleman filling in for his colleague but have now forgotten his name.
Disliked: I was satisfied with everything.
